SPACEWatch Pro comes in three editions: Standard, Network and Enterprise.

Standard is aimed at desktop users.
Network is aimed at network administrators.
Enterprise is aimed at network admins and other enterprise support staff who want a more sophisticated approach to managing misuse and waste across a number of servers or with a large amount of unstructured data (i.e. files stored on file servers).

Standard and Network Edition use a local database created by SPACEWatch. This is limited in size to about 1Gb, which can store upto about 1 million files-worth of data.

Enterprise Edition can use an external SQL database such as Microsoft SQL Server or the free MSDE, and has no limit on the size of network you can work with.

Enterprise Edition allows much greater flexibility in deployment and includes additional features such as the SPACEWatch Scheduler. For more details see http://www.sharpeware.com/html/spacewatch_features
