Remote Support
Start a remote support session quickly and securely
Use this page to start your remote support session. This is a three step process:
Run the Participant Client | This does not need to be installed and will leave no files on your system at the end of the session.
Internet Explorer
Download the Participant Client.
Click on "Run" when prompted:

Or alternatively click on Save File and then Open the Participant Client from your PC with Windows Explorer.

Other browsers
Download the Participant Client to a convenient location such as your Desktop. Double click the client program to run it. |

Enter the Session ID | Start the Participant Client and enter the Session ID. This will be provided to you by phone by your Sharpeware consultant.

Click 'Connect' to start the remote session. |

Allow remote support | You have complete control over what parts of your desktop the Sharpeware consultant can see.
Click 'Yes' to show your complete desktop; or click 'Select' to limit access to specific applications.

Once a session has started the Sharpeware consultant can see part or all of your desktop (the choice is yours - see above). You can also allow the Sharpeware consultant to take control of your desktop.

Click on "On" to allow the Sharpeware consultant to take control of your desktop. At any point you can click on "Off" to remove this access.
Security
Your data and transactions are only available to you and your Sharpeware consultant. To keep it that way, the technology employed by Sharpeware fulfills even the most stringent security standards at the architecture, application, and data levels. This three-level approach to security prevents any unauthorized persons from viewing your data.

Random session number for establishing connection
The randomly generated connection number increases security and ensures clear assignment from customer to Sharpeware.
Termination with a click
A click on the exit button at either end of a connection will immediately terminate the support session.
Having a certificate increases your security
You are working with the original. The VeriSign certificate designates the software and removes all doubt. It tells you that the software comes directly from the manufacturer and that no third parties have made any changes.
