You can easily use SPACEWatch Pro Domino Edition 5 to monitor disk storage use on your IBM Lotus QuickPlace servers. All of SPACEWatch Pro's tools can be used to analyze how documents and files are being created in your QuickPlaces. For example, the Tree Summary shows QuickPlace databases organized by QuickPlace:

Dealing with QuickPlace access control

Because of the web-based way that Quickplace works, it sets up a unique security system for every Quickplace that is created. This means that, by default, there is no single user (even the server administrator on a Quickplace on Domino system) who has access to all Quickplace databases.

To circumvent this, it is necessary either to access the databases locally, or to modify the Quickplace database template so that a specified user (oruser group) is always added to the ACL whenever a new Quickplace database is created.
